AccessibAll is is a leading authority in promoting accessibility and inclusion within the world of sport,working alongside governing bodies. We strive to ensure that the voices of disabled supporters are heard and acted upon. Our work encompasses advocacy, awareness campaigns, and the development of best practices in stadium accessibility and inclusive matchday experiences. As a Trustee, you will play a pivotal role in steering the organisation towards its mission of making sport, and particularly football, accessible to all. This voluntary position requires a commitment to the ethos of AccessibAll, a deep understanding of governance, and the ability to liaise effectively with football and governing bodies. The role includes contact with our Dutch authorities and requires attendance at three meetings per year, online and at least one of which will be in person (Usually Sunday - Monday). Key Responsibilities include: Contributing to discussions on governance, disability matters, accessible building standards, risk assessment, and safeguarding within the sports community Supporting the fundraising mission of AccessibAll and providing new ideas Sharing feedback on current strategy and reviewing operations Serving as the main point of contact for “CAFE Stichting” representation, based in The Hague Assisting in basic administrative tasks in the Netherlands Attending three meetings per year, with at least one physical meeting Providing strategic oversight and input into the development of policies and practices that align with AccessibAll’s objectives Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements as a trustee of the organisation Requirements: Must be a resident of the Netherlands Demonstrable interest and experience in governance, preferably within the non-profit or sports sector Knowledge or willingness to learn about disability issues and the promotion of accessibility Commitment to the values and goals of AccessibAll, including equality, diversity, and the promotion of disability rights Travel to meetings across Europe and accommodations will be covered by AccessibAll.
